Immersive theater

Located between the Place de la Nation and the Père-Lachaise Cemetery, the former Electric Transformation Station "Nation 1" is home to an exceptional space of unique architectural heritage.

The desire of Franklin Azzi Architecture is to preserve its aesthetic and structural integrity for the benefit of its valuation and its openness to the public.

Since the loss of its historic industrial function, this building has been abandoned and closed to the public. Our ambition is to reactivate the place: we want to give back to this building a clean and innovative identity in the respect of its close environment. A mode of intervention is privileged here: to do with existing, to adjust with what exists. The project wants to bring some unexpected things to the city. The Immersive Theater project is intended to give new life to a building whose industrial past is still close.
