AD Interior
For its famous Parisian back-to-school event, AD Magazine invites designers, architects, and interior architects to reinterpret a room in the house. Franklin Azzi chose to reinterpret the kitchen! A highly symbolic room with a long history and reflecting many societal, cultural, and technical evolutions.
Under Franklin Azzi’s pencil, the kitchen is cosmopolitan. Master in the art of sampling, he combines elements from Western history—showpiece fireplace, functionalist storage, outdoor opening—with Japanese influences including the typical sunken lounge. This deliberately oversized table placed in the center of the room invites sharing and generosity, a common stance to all culinary cultures.
