‘Transparency, alchemy, sedimentation, revelation... these were the words I had in mind when researching with Franklin Azzi and his team to choose the motif for our scarf. Making this silk was both an obvious choice and a joy: I love the idea of it being worn, unfurled and suspended. Silk is first and foremost a link with silkscreen, which transfers the image through its sieve. It's the link with sedimentation, with the geography that emerges in the hollow: following the random paths formed by deposits and substrates, capturing them in photography, transforming them through painting and the alchemy of the studio. It's also the motif of the palette in painting, a landscape in constant mutation, like the ones I walk’.
