Franklin Azzi signs the Rivoli project, a mixed-use refurbishment project
In collaboration with REDEVCO France, Franklin Azzi Architecture has signed on for a new mixed-use refurbishment project in the historic heart of Paris at 126 Rue de Rivoli. Addressing modern lifestyles, the 13,000 m² project, spanning 8 levels, will include shops, offices, an urban logistics zone, a hotel, a restaurant, and a green roof terrace open to the public, offering a 360-degree view of Paris.
The goal of restructuring the building, originally constructed in 1922 by E. Berthelot and A. and G. Perret Architectes Constructeurs, is to renew and enhance its distinct and elegant architectural identity while updating the programme to showcase the unique character of the site, allowing users to adopt new functionalities.
The renovated Haussmann-style building embodies significant environmental and social ambitions and has been awarded BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification for both the construction and operational phases.
