Lecture at the house of Denmark
Architecture #1 The generous city
A look at the city that undergoes transformation, expands, connects, and becomes greener and more humane. The generous city gathers urbanism, aesthetics, history and social awareness. It is a city that reclaims a role for nature in the urban environments. Taking the case of two big cities – Paris and Copenhagen – examples of playful and generous architectures that leave room for the inhabitants will be presented. The evening panel will be composed of:
- Jens Lindhe, Architect and Photograph
- Karsten R. S. Ifversen, Architecture Publisher at Politiken and Author of “The generous City”, Gyldendal, 2013
- Franklin Azzi, Architect and project coordinator of the shoreline development project on the banks of the Seine in Paris
