Architecture
106 Temple, Ledger Headquarters
Listed as a Historic Monument for its unique facade and volume, the former telephone exchange on Rue du Temple was erected in 1922 by architect François Le Coeur. Franklin Azzi was chosen to lead the revaluation of this exceptional heritage into a complex of offices.
Subject to the technical specificities of this singular architecture—numerous servitudes for cables, high ceilings for terminals—Franklin Azzi works with these constraints to adapt the building to contemporary uses: a rationalized service base, suspended mezzanines to create mezzanine levels without burdening the floors, and the building’s height leveraged to nest a terrace with an unbeatable view.
