Since its creation in 2019, the Franklin Azzi Endowment Fund actively contributes to stimulating dialogue between artistic disciplines, highlighting know-how and sharing ideas.
Its activities, like its identity, are shaped by those who animate it constantly: artists, curators, authors and intellectuals. The Fund provides to its guests an unexpected time and space of freedom.
Conceived as a new territory to be explored, the exhibitions are entrusted to young talents or established artists, and are open to all visitors for free. These events are supported by a dynamic editorial policy, as well as a range of financial and technical support programs for a wide variety of projects - residencies, creative assistance, collaborations and so on.
By opening the doors of the architectural office to contemporary practices, we gradually forge links between the arts and sciences, crafts and innovation, theory and practice. Thanks to the Fund, the necessary conditions are set up to create and diffuse artworks, share know-how, initiate encounters and encourage joint reflection.
All the Fund's commitments and actions are designed with this in mind: to create a mesh of individual and collective intelligence, a mental and physical map reflecting a world in perpetual motion. From 2023, the Fund will receive 1% of the agency's revenues to develop its projects. As part of its development, the Fund is also surrounded by a Board of Directors whose members offer a new perspective on its missions, with a view to broadening the scope of its activities.
