Contemporary art has always been a common thread in Franklin Azzi's work.
As a "jack-of-all-trades" architect, both on the scales and in the programs, he rubs shoulders with artistic production with the same enthusiasm as for architecture. An enlightened amateur, his curiosity allows him to take an interest in and intervene at every stage of the production process of artistic pieces: from technical assistance to its demonstration.
By hosting the exhibition DÉCADENCE proposed by Thomas Havet (DOUBLE SEJOUR), Franklin Azzi prolongs his desire to make the exhibition time interact with that of the architectural production. Convinced that it is necessary to widen the fields of reference, to open the eye and to keep the mind awake, Franklin Azzi proposes here an exhibition outside the spaces of classical demonstrations, persuaded that the art is wished also elsewhere than in the time of the museum or gallery.
